Pregnolone and libido

who has experienced a significant turnaround with libido taking Preg after T and E2 was optimized. Can a huge improvement be realized or is this primarily for mood improvement.

are you using hcg as well or have low cholesterol or thyroid problems. If one has low thyroid, taking hcg or low cholesterol preg will back fill those holes and keep the cascade going..

Yes on both - juts started Armour

Total Chol on low side as is good Chol. But as mentioned DHEA is high.

Try HCG it will make your testis work as good as they can and make your Pregnolone levels go up. I can't take Pregnolone because I am on Thyroid and HC for some reasion I feel dam bad adding it. Yet doing HCG I get a feeling of well being they tell me this is the Pregnolone going up.

hardasnails, what do you mean backfilling? Are you saying if you take HCG while your thryoid is having problems, you will be worse off?

if you are taking hcg and have low cholesterol and low thyroid to begin with it will depelte your dhea and pregnenolone, plus cholesterol is needed to make pregnenolone.

I think Pregnenolone can raise cortisol

Unless it is sending ACTH to my Adrenals my Cortisol levels will not go higher. My Pituitary does not work right.

check your Essential and Fatty acids.
You may have low DHA,
(I have low DHA and I eat what I thought was enough omega-3 EPA/DHA,
I have to double the dose) plus add GLA).

I am so smart since about last 10 minures.
I am reading my fats analysis report.

for example

estrogen,
progesterone (and I guess, pregnenolone)
insulin
serotonin

are highly dependent on proper DHA levels

Nobody else on this and the other boards is talking about this issues.

I am just glad that I can get advice in form of actual testing,
plus written recomendation from laboratory that did the test.

I have been on Fish oil and getting all the omega-3's I need can't test the rest am losing weight and this puts a lot of crap in to the blood so until I get to my goal weight doing these tests are use less.

Dr sent me the wrong test for estroessence..sent me women estrogen serum instead
Jansz the cost is 250 from great plains same test. Insurance charges 350-500 i am sure.

I could use advice of what to do when things are not where they are supposed to be.

And the advice is not always DIM and Resveratrol, it gets hairy very quickly.
There is about dozen of supplements that should be used and not all at the same time.

And if one goes over too much on 2/16 ratio
(like I think Dr Delgado is doing)
that is a good way to get osteoporosis.

I'm sorry but are you saying Omega 3 intake affect estrogen levels? Is so can you point me to this information?
