If I'm infact insulin resistant from low test/low thyroid, can it be "fixed" or controlled by getting both to optimal ranges?

wondering

please understand I am NOT a doctor or even remotely knowledgeble in this area, but if read tru that lengthy collection of Marianco posts from HardasNails, I seem to recall he says optimizing Thyroid will help, unless the "cow is out of the barn". Meanign a state of hypothyroidism that has gone on for too long.

Sorry I believe the same can be said for Test,

How long one has been in a state of hormonal deficiency can affect how well one responds to treatment. If diabetes has set in, then it may be too late to get the cow back in the barn as Dr. M says. In that case, still a good idea to get Thyroid and T optimized, but insulin restance will still be an issue in the face of outright diabetes.

What came first chicken or the egg. For inuslin resitance proper diet and stress management would be a nice start. high Cortiso/ low dheal probably a factor in here as well. For inuslin resistance gymneema 400 mgs @ 75% active ingredidents 2-3 times a day. Increase magnesum to 800 mgs a day a good 600 mgs with 30 mgs of zinc before going to bed. Could contriling inuslin resistnace restart T and thyroid since you remove the stressors only time will tell . increase soluable fiber to 35-40 grrams a day by adding more beans and legumes in there. For 6 meals a day 35 grams should be cake to reach

thanks for the replies.

HAN i remember in another post you made a connection between high DHEA and insulin resistance. Can someone have elevated DHEA and still have insulin resistance?
