i guess we do have it a bit better up here ...

they ask at admissions, they ask at the nursing station,
they ask when they come to prep you, they ask before
you go into the operating room, they ask a whole whack
of questions while on the table getting more prep ...

and then both the surgeon and person putting you out
ask again ...

and its not just what the procedure is going to be, but
your name, birth date, the surgeon's name etc.

if they screw up after that we're really in trouble!
