View Full Version : a tedo antidepressants affect cortisol salivsting?

Im asking this question becuase on the saliva kit instructions from canary club it has possible interfering substances to check off and one of them is antidepressants. Im on 75 mg of effexor and have found weaning off them a nightmare so it would take at least a month to get off them. I cant afford to wait that long. I called the # on the form and asked about it,,but they said they needed me to have a doc call them to answer the question. I dont have a doc that would do this. does anyone know if I'd be wasting my money by taking this lab with effexor in my system?? Im hoping it wont skew the results

I don't think it effects the test but does the results.
