I have started injecting into my quad but what happens if I inject into a vein accidentally? I am trying to avoid doing this and I did aspirate prior but after injecting there was blood on the needle. After felt ill immediately after a few time but I think this is more of a psychosomatic reaction, not an actual reaction to a bad injection.

Jim what size needle do you use. I use a small 27g 1ml x 1/2" lg. needle I shoot into my thigh and once in a wile the needle goes through a vein. If you aspirate first and no blood comes into the needle your ok.

I am using a 25g - 1". It takes forever and a day to load and the 25g-1" is not compatible with the 22g 1-1/2 inch so I can't draw with one and inject with the other.

Wow what are you using STP I am doing Depo Testosterone and using a small 27g 1ml x 1/2" lg. needle. I shoot 70mgs. or .35mls every 3 days. To get the oil out of the vile I just pull the plunger all the way down and hold it until I get the does I need takes about 1 to 2 min.'s.

I have a couple of questions based on the above:
1. If you go through a blood vessel vein en route to the injection - but are not IN the blood vessel/vein at the final injection point, are you going to aspirate blood from having penetrated the vessel earlier?
2. If you do, in fact, aspirate blood, do you have to withdraw the needle completely, throw it away (test and all) and start over? I have read contrary information here. Some say throw the whole shebang away, some say go a little deeper/shallower, and try aspirating again, which brings me to my third question;
3. If you do hit a vein, aspirate blood and withdraw (or penetrate) a little more to try to get away from the vein, when you re-aspirate how would you know if you're getting "new" blood in the syringe or if it's the "old" blood from before?
4. Also, are you less likely to hit a vein doing a glute injection?

It's not worth it to try to save the shot is aspirate blood pull it out and pitch it and start over. Just think how much it would cost if you had to go to the ER.

What are the results of accidentally injecting into a vein? Test or hcg?

I am not sure but I thought I did once and called my Dr. and he told me If I felt worse then I am to go to the ER.
If you shoot into a vein the T can go to your heart.

how far back do you pull the plunger to aspirate?

I believe an embolism can result from injecting the oil based T into a vein.I'm not sure if doing the same with the water based hcg is dangerous or not.I was of the opinion that the viscosity was the problem rather than the drug.I've never aspirated hcg...is it necessary?
