When a person is on HRT + AI+ hcg there is always that brain wrenching question "when is the best time to take arimidex to prevent the e2 spike"

When does plasma levels actually become saturate with arimidex ?

So with all that said lets give am example

Some one on a TRT protocol with e2 57 (13-54)
60 mgs T m,th
250 ius HCG m,w
and was precscribe total .5 mgs armidex a week to start off with.

Now the 64 million when its the best time to take it?
knowing that the person is hcg sensitive (hcg raises e2 3 times normal level for some unknown reason). The idiology would be to take it prevent this "spike"so to say that the hcg causes.

So what would the person do
1) take the armidex on the day of hcg knowing that it will blunt the spike
2) take it on the day of testosterone shot
3) screw it and take it when ever (atleast 2 times a week) knowing that once serum is saturated it make really no diffrence in the first place as long as it is replaced every 2-3 days your good to go. In the end you are only stressing your self out trying to anaylze everything. This e2 spike theory is a crock of crap that is just an HRT myth.

I vote for 3.

Try .25mg Every 3rd day

You might want to try and avoid using hcG and T on the same day to avoid going over range(hcG + T on that day might put you at a very high TT level and cause E2 to go up)

Try to find a lower dose of Arimidex and take it everyday. A guy like us at the H2 group had his Arimidex compounded so he could use a very low dose like .125 mgs. a day and he said this works for him. I am yet to talk to him again to find out how this compounded this for him.

I have seen this stuff compounded at .25mg a pill. The pill is so tiny!

Im sure making it .125mg won't be a problem.

Everyday use is ideal, thats why so many guys go underground and get it liquid to use everyday(plus its cheaper)

only problem with underground labs there batch varies and very inconsistant.
Armdex by perscription or compunded would be the way to got IMO..

I was perscribed AI E3D but it made my E2 level tank and I felt worse. I then cut the quarter (.25mg) pill in half (.125mg) and I still got a bad effect. I even tried taking .25mg once a week with no luck. So I lowered my T cyp shot dose to 40mg E3D and avoid the HCG on the day of that injection (I take 100iu of HCG ED except the day of T injection) and take 20mg of Opti-Zinc and 30mg of B6 along with TMG and I feel better but not great. I've been doing this for 7 months now and I'm confused as hell at what to do. I haven's gotten labs or spoke to Dr. John since last spring but I guess it's about time I find out what's going on...life's kept me real busy!

You need lab testing to be sure bud do not play guessing games with e2 it can cause alot of cardiovascular problems in the future..

The long ester T is suspended in oil. You could easily inject every 5th day and get the same results, less needle work/injects. E5D injects is 6 injects a month. You do 10 right now at 40.

Same with HCG. Inject day before to avoid spike 250IU

I inject subq, 31Ga, every day.

Day 1 -- T + AI
Day 2 -- HCG

I increased my hcg dose to 380iu
and do it every other day, just like the men in that study.

Arimidex should be more than capable of keeping E2 down.

Guys on AAS use 500mg of T once per week and are just fine keeping it at bay with arimidex.

I would think that with the small amounts of T you guys inject you should be fine

Anything that increases testosterone production will cause an increase in aromatization that will lead to estradiol. HCG does this by restoring baseline testicular functioning. Someone on T + HCG will have higher T levels than someone on T alone if dosage is same.

Secondly LH in itself increases aromatization. It is common in primary guys who have high LH and low T to have high E2. Since HCG is artificial LH, and acts upon LH receptors throughout the body, it will increase rate of aromatization.

Testosterone Enanthanate and Cypionate at a 100mg injection should keep T levels up pretty high for 5 days before crashing. Heck, you could probably inject HCG on day 5 and 6 to act like a bridge to carry you over and just inject T every week.

At least thats how I understand it. Im new to alot of this :p
