1. This Forum is for gentleman. No one wants to come here just to be met with discourse and negativity. Humor, however, is appreciated. Heck, it’s encouraged.

2. No steroid talk.

3. When in doubt, refer to Rule #2.

4. There is a wide range of thought at the cutting edge of medicine. Who knows what the final answers will turn out to be? On this site, as in my practice, I promote my own beliefs and protocols—as would be expected. But there are also other ways of doing things. You will be exposed to other ways of thinking here. It’s in the debate, combined with actual clinical experience (what you gents provide) the answers will be found.

5. If I have ever banned you from any Forum I have run, you are welcome here. Just be cool now.

6. We encourage participation in other men’s health forums. There’s no problem linking to them when doing so contributes to dialogue here.

7. Only compounding pharmacies which have been personally approved by me may be mentioned on this Forum. The same goes for other products as well. My criteria are stringent. You then benefit from my extensive experience, and this increases your chances for success.

8. The free paper end of the toilet paper roll goes over, not under.

9. I am the final arbitor of both participation, and informational content, on this Forum. I cannot monitor everything, obviously. My fine Moderators will do the best they can.

10. Rule #9 would be another one worth rechecking, when in doubt.

11. Before asking, for instance, "Which is better, TD or IM?" take advantage of the search feature here. It's probably already been answered many times. This very question has.

12. I am not here to provide (free) entire Consultations. I am happy to answer simple questions. Long posts of labs and Medical History are usually ignored by me, since I do not have time to take care of my own medical practice and answer short questions, so how on earth can I take 20 minutes to evaluate such long posts?

13. Please do not PM me asking for individualized medical care. Patients are not to use PM's for Dr/Pt relationship communications.

14. Coffee should not be flavored.

15. Doctors who practice illegal medicine will not be promoted here. I am the final arbitor in all cases.

16. The LabCorp "Sensitive Estradiol" Test Code 140244 and Mayo Clinic "Enhanced Estradiol" Test Code # 81816 are the gold standard amongst serum matrix estrogen assays in the United States.

17. I really cannot have my patients discussing details of their individualized treatment in open Forum, for numerous reasons. To let all know how serious I am about this: I have dismissed a patient from my practice for repeated violations of this simple rule.

18. I post what I want, when I want to. If you do not like it, go somewhere else. You are in my house now.

19. Light beer is NOT beer. Have a microbrew.

20. DO NOT contact me asking for a referral for a physician in your area. This is not a service I have time to provide for everyone, and need to instead spend that time answering questions here.

21. Newbies would do well to use the Search Feature before posting. More than likely your question has already been answered here, probably several times.

22. Dr. Crisler would like to, but cannot accept friendship requests at this time.

Dr. John and I have noticed that there have been some links posted in threads or in signatures to sites that sell products. This forum was not intended to be used for FREE advertising.

We've made a conscious effort not to accept sponsorships, so why would we allow forum members to promote their own products? Please take these links down immediately. Failing to do so risks your membership in the forum.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Here are a few things to keep in mind when donating.

Please don't start the donation process and stop half way through. If someone starts to make a donation, but then backs out and doesn't send it through to paypal, it shows up here on the forum, but then paypal has to be checked and reconciled to see if the payment actually went through.
Please make sure you're logged in when making a donation. This will make sure that it gets attributed to you. Otherwise the transaction has to be matched up by email address, and often the Paypal email address is not the same address used on the forum.
Please allow a couple of days for your donation to show up on the donation bar and your status changed to contributor. This is all done manually. If your donation hasn't shown up after a couple of days, please let me know.
Finally, thanks for all of your donations. It's much appreciated and helps pay for cost associated with running the forum

The rules of the forum state to not link to supplement companies that aren't approved.

Only compounding pharmacies which have been personally approved by me may be mentioned on this Forum. The same goes for other products as well. My criteria are stringent. You then benefit from my extensive experience, and this increases your chances for success.

It really would not hurt to post a link to those products and pharmacies which have been personally approved in the rules or in this thread.

Thanks!

That reminds me: I've got some updating to do.

We had a couple members who were trying to use our forum to sell their own stuff. This is not Ebay.

I was asked recently if I could increase the number of private messages allowed. After giving it some thought, I have doubled the number allowed to 100 for those who have contributed. I increased a few other limits as well for contributors. It's just a way to say thanks for supporting the forum.

It's not an automatic process. It's a manual process.

Chatadmin manually reconciles the payments from the various financial organisations, against the record-of-payment logged on this forum - they don't always add up.

Only after chatadmin has reconciled the payments, does the donations bar register the payment, and the member's name gets flagged as a contributor.
