My wife says I smell like sweet alcohol alot. It happened last night again but worse. I did notice some dry mouth. I have reactive hypoglycemia hopefully that hasnt progressed to diabetes. I asked my doc and he said fat loss can cause it and estrogen rise can cause it. I did have a few drinks sunday but this is rare. Could it be a yeast overgrowth or related to my hypoglycemia. She notices it more when I am on testosterone steadily.

about 3 years ago i did a 7 point glucose test and it never got above 92. God I hope it hasnt turned into diabetes. I am having some visual symptoms and numbness and tingling though they may not be associated. This sucks

this could very well be and I have heard that. I have cleaned up my diet alot and cut calories. She said it smells like a fruity alcoholic drink. It is usually only at night but we also sweat in our sleep

No no ALA supps at all only white flood and green magnitude although these could contain some.

If excessive keytones are present in urine what would this mean

Needs to look what type of diet and how many caloires in vs out you are doing. If you are one low caloire for your daily usage then you can burn your proteins which is not good.

I would look into your kidney function as this plays a huge part in managing blood sugar levels.

I normally smell like amonia after a workout (or sweating). Is that bad? I can remember it even a few years back when I was jogging a lot. I'd shower and smell amonia. Happens now after workouts and treadmill too.

Body is burning off protein or you are taking too high of protein.
Might need glutamine to help as an ammonia scavenger.

Here is some interesting info on ketones and I have been dieting as well as hitting the gym and I have alot of stress between work and school so im not as concerned since I feel ok. It did become more noticable after I started im Test injections weekly.

Normal ketones range in urine
negative

Measuring range
0 - 160 mg/dl

They are produced in the body when fats, rather than glucose are used to produce energy.

This substance is an acid which can be harmful to the body if ketones are allowed to accumulate.

Abnormal ketones values may indicative of

Diabetic ketoacidosis

Insulin overdose

Insufficient food intake

Nausea and vomiting

Starvation

Strict dieting

Severe stress

Severe fever due to infection

Further action required if ketones is found in urine
check urine for glucose

if glucose is also present - immediate action is required and you should contact your medical practitioner immediately.
