How many of you have cholesterol below 150 ?

Mine last check was 115 despite eating 4-5 whole eggs day, 1/2 lbs red meat,
3 TBSP EVCCO, 1 TBSP organic butter, even taking oxbile..I am feed up with this and taking the next step according to my research and past medical records my cholesterol when I was 16 was 120. So basically i was predisposed to adrenal fatigue before I even knew what it even was.

Pretty much in the same boat. My cholesterol is usually in the upper 130's. 4 eggs a day .5 lb red meat, several handfulls of nuts, 1 tbl spoon flax oil, 8 grams fish oil. I have even had large unhealthy fatty meal and dessert the day before and the results are the same, not even a slight spike. Before I added the yolks(used to be just the whites years ago) and red meat my totals were about 5 points lower. Kinda given up trying to get it higher.

My heart book says your bad chol should be less then 100mg/dl and if your at risk try for a goal of 70 mg/dl

Your Total chol should be less then 200 mg/dl and your HDL chol should be 40mg/dl or greater. Your triglycerides should be less then 150 mg/dl.

Don't know much about this hope it helps.

95-110 for the last 2 years. But I'm on 40 mg/day simvastatin and my HDL has been 62-75. Started out at time of metabolic syndrome diagnosis with total = 220, HDL = 37, and triglycerides at 335.

Mine's been around 120-130 for years. My HDL-LDL ratio has always been reversed. Too much of the bad one & not enough of the good one. Plus, I've had as of the last few years elevated trigyclerides.

Hmmmm...what to make of all this. I sense a pattern here for us.

My cholesterol is 140. I used to eat huge quantities of fatty steak, butter, eggs, ice cream, etc., and I admit feeling reassured when I saw the results, though I've also wondered if it might be too low. I was 27 when I had it checked (29 now).

My recent tests show low adrenals, low androgens, and high ferritin. Is low cholesterol related?

Explain, please. What does cholesterol have to do with adrenal fatigue & what is this "next step" of which you speak?

Your doing all the wrong things that why. you are suppressing your omega 6 and AA which is not good. I was one the phone with a representative from a TOP lab that deals with autism. He was blown away from my knowledge and that i am dealing with alot of the same biochemistry as an autistic. Amazingly recently I fall in to 90% of DSMV IV of asperger's. He forward my case onto the director of the lab who is waiting to give me a call back in references to my case in general. He said that I would be a good case study for them in this ground breaking field that alot more adults fall into my same catagory..Trust me mark my words as I am on my way to the top of the ladder.

usually low cholesterol has to do with inflammation of the gut or some kind of hidden infections. Bile acids are being stored and not released properly. When they are recycled they are contaminated and when released in the intestinal tract cause radical damage to the wall. This is one way food allergies are created from improper violite bile release.

So what would you suggest? When I was on a low fat diet(eating healthy foods) for years my cholesterol levels were in the mid 130's. So the amount of fat/cholesterol seems to have very little affect.

1) What does Ausberger's syndrome have to do with cholesterol?

2) I can't see how you could or would fit into this pattern. Are you implying that you might have or have had this? Can't see this as likely.

The transition has been there every since my child hood. When I had my blood profile came back from Dr kane it was linked to over 10,000 profiles in john hopkins data base. The comparison was schizophrenia. I have been in contact with alot of people that have adrenal issues and when I asked them if they have had this condition there mouths dropped because they were actually have been border lined diagnosed with this. Aspergers adults are known as advanced autistism. It does not mean that we are stupid, but actually have abstract thinking and have the ability to sift through information at a rapid rate. Aspergers are known for to be highly intelligent average iq's are above 150. Some of the greatest minds in the world have had this condition albert einstin, leonardi divinci, henry ford are among some of them. Having both the biological aspect and the psychological compentents (90% criteria to the dsm IV) makes it more credible. It is nothing to be ashamed off, but allow to do the thing I do so well. Right now my reputation is growing faster then it ever has before not just on the forums, but now with in the medical community in all areas. Some times I wonder if God put me on this earth to me tortured in order for others to be get better.

That is why the lab was so intrigued by my case as I have the clincal documentation that verifys the same metabolism of that as an asperger child..Low ceruloplasm, low cortisol, low cholesterol, b-12 malabsprtion despite supplementation, hair analysis indentical, same OAT for the past 3 years, same RBC fatty acid profile. I have the source of problem lies in the fact my bodys over production of NO affecting the metabolic biological pathways. In their eyes I would be the first adult documented case that would be the show the biological compentents related to this disorder.
