Need help w/math on dosing

If I have 11,000 units and put 4.4 ml of H2O in the vial of HCG then every unit on the insulin syringe is 250 correct? I just want to double check.

Where are you getting 11000 units?

If you're adding 10ml of water to a 10,000 units of powder then you're only going to end up with 10ml of 1ml=1000iu mixture because the HCG completely dissolves into the water. It's easier to to dose it that way as .25ml will give you a dosage of 250. If you only added 5ml of water then you'd dose .125 to get 250iu although it would be harder to line that up in the syringe.

Compounded NewRx pharmacy 11,000 units. Not sure why they do it that way. Dr. told me to put 4.4 ml of water in it and draw to 20 on the insulin syringe and I am trying to figure out what that is.

Take this with a grain of salt, I only started HCG yesterday:

You are mixing to a concentration of 11000IU/4.4mL = 2500IU/mL.
A U100 insulin syringe should be marked with 1mL/100 ticks.
So you will be injecting 20 ticks * 1mL/100ticks = .2mL.
This gives you 2500IU/ml*.2mL = 500iU.

Per JanZ math:

Density of your HCG solution is:
11000iu/4.4mL=2500iu/mL= 2500iu/100units

10units=250iu

If you inject that every other day:

250*7/2=875iu per week

If you inject 12 units every other day:

300ui X 7/2 = 1050ui per week.

I am dosing 875 per week. It is easy to draw and according to Dr J anything over 500 a week is flushed out of the system anyway. At least I think I remember reading that somewhere.
