Just a reminder of a subject discussed before - HCG freshness.
I just mixed up a new vile of Novarel today and injected a dose. What a difference.!!
After about day 20 Novarel losses it effectiveness for me. Too bad I can't get my insurance to pay for a new batch every 20 days.

I agree. Novarel is the best. The fresher the better. My boys get big and firm when I mix a fresh batch. I've tried the generic Abraxis and did not get the same effect.

Does compounded hcg have a better shelf life? I am using 250iu E3D from 5000iu vial so I need it to keep potency for 20 days.

Someone posted that question last week on Dr Johns new compounded HCG. I don't think it received any responses. Maybe it will now.

I am curious if freezing would help extend the effectiveness. Yes, I know that the bottle says "do not freeze".
Many people on other AA forums report that they freeze their HCG and it works great. Doing some Google research I also stumbled across a "HCG Diet" forum. I think the diet is crazy but those people do massive quantities of HCG. Almost all of them freeze it (individual doses in a syringe) and supposedly have excellent results with shelf life.
I have read on this board not to freeze.
Because of those dieters the FDA put warnings on all HCG packaging and inserts that says to the effect that HCG does not decrease appetite nor help in weight reduction in any way. This warning is in bold and stands out most clearly from all other text.
If they are injecting massive quantities of HCG and they are men they are inducing secondary hypogonadism and if not careful primary as well.

Not to hijack this thread, but actually, under the HCG Diet (referred to as the "Dr. Simeon's Protocol", who was the original Dr that developed the diet over a period of 20 years in a special weight loss clinic in Italy in the 1950's), you take 125 IU of HCG for a max of 40 days. Then you go through a 6 week period without it. Then you can go back on it for another 'round' after that. So, the doses are actually quite small.
I'm on TRT and am also doing Dr. Simeon's Protocol (with my doctor's permission), and have lost 29.5 lbs. in 31 days so far. I've been amazed at the results personally....in fact I've never seen anything like it.

It is because you are eating less calories than expending. Have you read the FDA warning on every package of HCG?

I've read both on this forum & elsewhere that the hcg "diet" is total BS & is also why it's become in such short supply.

Yes, I've read the FDA warning, and it's not really a warning, but a statement that there is no evidence that you loose more weight on HCG than with other very low calorie diets.
Nobody is claiming that you don't loose a lot of weight on non-HCG 'very low calorie diets'...it's the composition of the weight loss, location of the weight loss, the way you feel during the diet, and the ability to re-set your 'set point' after the diet that apparently makes it different than other low calorie diets.
Again, I'm not advocating the diet, but am just speaking as to the results I have been experiencing personally.
I was already on HCG anyway as part of my T-replacement and decided to give it a try.

It's a scam. The "HCG Diet" absolutely does not work without starvation-level caloric intake.
Want proof? I put thousands of men on HCG at the exct same dose they recommend, and none have reported phenomenal weight loss, or that they can now eat whatever they want, because their "hypothalamus is reset".
It is basically putting everyone on TRT whether they are hypogonadal or not. The added T makes them feel better.

Doubt if it is TRT.
They drink HCG (they call it sublingual).
Does HCG actually work when taken sublingually?

Most people actually take it via injection.
Some people take sublingually with B-12 and colloidal silver.
From all that I've read, injection is the most effective. But a lot of people still report significant success with sublingual.

People.....
That would be a men and women.
Giving a women HCG, what would that do?
Can that be considered TRT, as in men?
