Hi all. I just registered and posted a quick hello in the intro section. I'm hoping to learn more about TRT which leads me to something I've been thinking about today since I donated blood earlier.

I know many donate blood to keep their hematocrit levels in check but does this have any impact on test levels when on TRT?

I was wondering if it reduced the amount of test in the blood stream but then I got to thinking it might reduce that but not the test still being metabolized in the muscles and slowly released.

Anyone have any input on this?

I would think it may reduce the T levels circulating some, but this is not likely significant. If you want to avoid that donate before you do your next T shot. I inject HCG on Mon and Tues and T on Wed, so I try to donate before Wed.
It is important to donate every 8 weeks for most to keep your hematocrit down. Mine is usually around 52-55 when I donate. Thick blood can "sludge" and that can be a bit dangerous especially for us older guys who may also have a bit of coronary plaque. To be on the safe side I think EVERYBODY should be taking a baby aspirin a day.
