Just a reminder to donate if you can to round out the 175 dollars needed to keep the site going, if you are able.

what does the $175 go towards? i mean specifically (i.e. bandwidth), etc...

I think it is for hosting the board. And tech support of the board.

I donate regularly because I feel that the value I get far exceeds my donation every month.

i just found that strange because i also have a public forum that i use to promote my business and communicate with customers but i don't charge people to use it. i pay $1,500 a month in bandwidth charges for my business and the amount used for the forum is negligible, maybe a few dollars a month. text doesn't run up bandwidth charges. i don't think mods get pad for their services and i've never had to do any kind of "service" to the forum.

when used for business purposes, a forum is an advertising expense. i've never seen a forum ask for donations before. i use vbulletin software too and i didn't even know they had an option for accepting donations.

the information on here can be very valuable but it's not exactly "medical" advice, just a bunch of guys sharing their experiences. it seems to me that one advertisement spot on here should cover any "expenses".
