Probably a rookie question here – I searched the forum but got so many matches on my search terms I couldn’t find my answer in there…Anyway – basic question about estrogen blockers. I’m on a regimen of 200 mg of T cypionate once a week and 500 units of HCG twice a week with it (day before and two days before T shot of course) – and an estrogen blocker (anastrazole 1mg) EOD. I’m not real familiar with the actual chemical mechanism behind the anastrazole and reading some stuff on the internet made my eyes glaze over – I’m a math and computers guy, natural sciences are not my thing.
What I’m wondering is does taking it EOD regardless of when your T and HCG injections are make sense or should you take the approach of, say, 3 pills a week taken on the days when you’re body is producing the most estrogen (i.e. on the days you take your HCG and, say, 48 hours after your T injection when you’re levels are peaking)? Or am I over thinking this and should just relax?
thanks
um ... an actual doctor put you on that protocol?
hcg a bit high (Dr. Crisler recommends 250 2x per week)
and AI is high (0.25 to 0.50 eod is recommended) ...
and arimidex 'works' by blocking some of the aromatase
that is produced to convert testosterone to estradiol ...
and if this IS a Dr. Crisler protocol then contact him ... you're
breaking the #1 forum rule.

no, this isn't Dr. Crisler - I'm planning on a trip out to Lansing this summer...
I have follow up labs planned in a few weeks and I'm sure we'll adjust as necessary.

Well, I'm glad SOMEONE is using the search feature. LOL
Your question is a good one. It's quite advanced, really.
If one is to dose their AI twice per week, it is best ot give on injection day, then three das after. Thus the pattern is 3-4-3-4-3 days intervals.
I assume the HCG by my protocol does not elevate E too much.
BTW, as you have been told, the 500iu at a time may defeat the previous concept by producing no more T, but lots more E (and PROG). But everyone is different.

cool - thanks for the reply. I'll call and ask about changing to 250 U on the HCG but I'd like to hang tight a few weeks till after my blood test before changing...
