I was referred here, and looking forward to reading the threads.
I am 45 , stopped drinking and using nicotine 3 years ago, never done illicit drugs, I lifts weights and use elyptical machine , but not doing so well, decided to get my hormone levels checked. I am hypothyroid since 14 ,
Well six months ago after lots of blood tests, my testosterone was 357 on a 400-1050 scale and my estrodriol was 81 on a 10 -50 scale.
Went thru a doctor or two till I hired a endocrine doctor, started on Androgel 6 weeks ago. My T was down to 245 mid june after 3 weeks of 4 pumps, I tested last week and my T level is 166 and I am on 6 pumps of A gel.
My doc is gone on vacation and I cant see him till August 11th. His suggestion was to go to 8 pumps [ actually his nurse told my to go to 8 pumps].
I am a little purturbed my doctor left me without better instructions before his departure, he had my test result 4 days before he left town.
I am starting to believe he may not be the man for me. I have read about the Dr. affiliated with this site [ Crisler], he must be so busy, so I am here to see i can learn something here , plus to see if the fine doctor is taking new clients.
