I am using Testim and have had no problem with this,...
but my BIL began using a compounded cream about 6 weeks ago and last night said he felt some facial numbess, a metallic taste in his mouth and some internal "tremors"..i was wonsdering if this could be a side effect of compounded testosterone cream?

I never experienced this when I was using compounded T.

That's can be due to too high DHT, which in turn would be due to too high T (testosterone) from the gel/cream.
Too high T results in the body lowering SHBG to free up more T, which allows it to increase the rate at which it converts T into DHT and E2 (estradiol).
