There's a couple of Cenegenics-affiliated practices in Denver. Think executive, concierge-style practices. $$$

Thanks for the reply cpeil2, I am hoping to find a good doctor that understands hormones and what tests we need to run and why. I know there has to be a good doctor somewhere in the state of Colorado.

My wife is going to Radiant Clinic up in Loveland. The doctor there also treats men. They seem to understand in range versus optimal range.

For her, they are taking a lot of tests, including a 150 food allergy test, saliva, urine, blood, etc.
My PC also prescribes testosterone, but I do not use him for this treatment.

I also use this doc, he has a better understanding of adrenals than most doctors. I also have a great urologist that uses a protocol very similiar to Dr. J.

I called http://www.radiantcliniccolorado.com/ and talked to them a little about the clinic. They sound o.k., I asked if they did consults just to see what there views on treatment are?? She said they did not but she would pass the questions along to the doctor??
1st they don't accept insurance and the 1st appointment (2 hours) runs $350-400 and the follow up appointment is $175. The do utilize Genova testing which is great. I would just like to get a little more info on his views of treating hormones. Does he use test in conjunction with HCG, does he prescribe test cyp. It is hard I have been to so many doctors and got no where and spent a ton of money. I just want to go to someone who knows there "shit"
Thanks so much

Any place that spends two hours with you, whether it be Dr. John or a place like Radiant cannot accept insurance as the insurance co-pay only pays for 7.5 min of the doctor's time.
I don't know if he prescribes HCG or T-cyp, but they do prescribe HGH for some patients, according to the web site.
My wife has had the first visit and the testing done and is awaiting a follow-up visit.

What were her impressions, did the doc seem to know his stuff???? Was the testing he ran in-depth?? Did she have a good overall feeling about the doctor.
rfish1966, what is the name of your urologist that your using and do you feel like he's doing a good job??? You said that http://www.radiantcliniccolorado.com/, had a very good understanding of adrenals, how was his understanding of test?? Interesting that you see the radiant clinic, but use your urologist for trt, is there a reason??
Thanks

The Doc at Radiant seems to know his stuff with test and adrenals but I really like my urologist...he is progressive and open to suggestions and has been specially trained in fertility and is well versed with arimidex and HCG usage.

If you are able,
see/check both doctors,
make up your own mind.

I wanted to start of by saying thanks to all for the help. I spoke with http://www.radiantcliniccolorado.com and set up an appointment with them for next Wednesday at 9:30, it will be a 2 hour appointment. I chose this office because they utilize Genova Testing and run a Nutreval test on all patients. He looks deeply into thyroid/adrenals and has a good understanding of test. I will keep you guys posted and let you know what I think. Thanks again.

My wife had her follow-up and it was just amazing. I am not going to get into the specifics, but she has a whole lot of WTF going on with her body. We knew she did, but the doctors and specialists from other places never pinned anything down.
The doc at Radiant identified a large number of issues including cortisol, progesterone levels, thyroid, vitamin D, amino acids, food sensitivities. He is working with my wife at fixing them in a systematic process. One thing I can say is that the food sensitivities were different than we expected and she needs to avoid a number of spices, vanilla, chocolate, garbanzos, bananas and some other things.
