I am currently taking 200mg a week of test cyp for my TRT. I have been on this dose for almost a year now and still get acne on my shoulers. I thought by now my hormone levels would have leveled out and the acne would go away. Does anyone else experience this and is there any idea's out there on how to clear it up.

Lots of vitamin B5 like 10-15 grams per day

Aren't there any long term side effects to taking massive dose of a single vitamin ? I know that this is a successful therapy, but I'd most definitely be weary of adverse sides down the road.

I tend to follow the rule that too much of anything can be bad. This is where one has to research and come to his own best possible conclusion. B5 works but at what cost??? I have wondered the same.

I don't get it on my shoulders but I get it on my scalp and forehead along my hair line. It seems to come and go about every month. Usually when I get it my hair also gets oily by the end of the day. When I don't get the acne I my hair doesn't get very oily. There is no consistency to it.

I was taking the B5 but it was making me feel really bloated..i have started a regimen of exfoliating twice a day and rubbing down with witch hazel and I am seeing a good improvement

my speculation on that subject is you are not eating right.
and secondly, 200mg may be too high, which you may not need, if other things were fixed up.

and, like ptm said, too much of anything cannot be good...

and like HAN would say, find the cause problem, solve it=)

I also have these issues, so hope I can rule it out.

Have yet to try it but I Saw Palmetto may be of some help if the acne is due to DHT which I believe it is. Ive tried B5 with okay results. But this time around I am going to approach this from several angles. Keep B5 at a high dose:10g per day. Fish oil at around 7g per day and Saw Palmetto (not yet sure of dosage). Couple the supplement regimen with a good skin care treatment like the "acne.org" regimen.

Great info from savaan

Why such a high dosage OP?

You realize that is double what 90% + of most people need

high dose b5 will make you excrete more B6, which is known to balance water retention, maybe this would explain the "bloating"
