I am not having any luck using the new ordering system through The All things Male Web Site. I want my prescription called in to my pharmacy and although there is a link for that purpose I get an error message stating that I am entering invalid characters? Just need some Test Cyp and some 22g needles. Has anyone have any advice on how to make the system accept my order. Thanks

I haven't tried it but if you're entering anything with quotes, single quotes, commas, semicolons, etc some systems just reject that data to prevent the possibility of a SQL injection attack.

Just a thought.

It could be a bug in the system that they are not aware of. Send them an email to let them know what is happening.

Just a thought.I love it when you talk technical.

...have no idea what you're talking about, but it sure sounds good! LOL

BTW, there is only one $15 Script Call In Fee per episode. Just like always. This has caused some confusion.

I didn't think it would, since it's always been that way, so there's no change, but we will put more explicit instructions on there.

Thanks for helping us tune this bad boy up.

So, I just tried to enter the following Medication Requested in the new order system:

30/31ga 5/16" 1/2cc Insulin Syringe (Box #100)

What do I have to do for it to pass the field edit so I don't get the error message invalid characters?

I don't know that I understand what you mean by "episode". Is an "episode" the act of calling one pharmacy for multiple medication refills? Or is an "episode" the act of calling multiple pharmacies for multiple medication refills?

The way the on-line request site is set up it appears that it is $15 for every individual call-in prescription regardless if they are going to the same pharmacy or not. So if you ordered 3 different medication refills from the same pharmacy it appears that it would cost $45 for those prescription call-ins.

If it is only $15 for 3 medications to be called in (to the same pharmacy) then the "prescription call ins" item in the store should allow for listing multiple medications and one pharmacy name.

If it is only $15 to call 3 different pharmacies for 3 different medications then the "prescription call ins" item in the store should allow for listing multiple medications as well as the pharmacy that each medication needs to be called in to.

As you can probably tell I'm still confused. :confused1:

I see there are now options for....

Established Patient Office Visit

and

Established Patient Virtual Office Visit

Are we supposed to use these options to place an order when we want to schedule a visit or are we supposed to use these options to pay for a visit that we have already had? How should these be used? In the past I just called the office or sent an email to Kim if I needed to schedule a visit and then someone would call me back to schedule it. But I want to schedule visits in what ever way is best for your office staff.

I guess I should have looked at the options before asking. It looks like you can use those items for either requesting an appointment be scheduled or to pay for an appointment that you have already completed.

I'm assuming they still call you back to schedule the time even though there are general options like "Monday AM" and "Monday PM"?

Is it preferred that we use the new system to request that an appointment be scheduled rather than calling the office?

You do need to pick up your stuff at the same pharmacy, though.

We thought of just rasing the prices on everyone, and absorbing this. But why make everyone pay for what only a portion need?

I'll have IT Guy make a note on there to clear this up.

That makes complete sense. Thanks for the clarification.

When requesting a prescription call in, you only need to add the item to your cart once for each pharmacy being called. In the requested medications field you may list multiple medications under the same $15 fee.

The information you enter under Requested Medication(s) should be basic (IE HCG, Insulin Syringes, 5 percent testosterone gel). There is no need to add strengths or dosages as we must verify this in your chart anyway.

The Requested Medication(s) field is limited to 64 characters and you cannot use special symbols like percent signs, quotes, or slashes. If you run out of room you will have another note field as you finalize the checkout process where you can append additional information if needed.

This needs to be a sticky or added to the ordering system documentation on the website.

It is a new system may take some time trying to get aqccustomed to it, I think it will take quite a load off of the staff at ATM, I am sure it is quite a growing practice with so many guys have susch issues anymore.

So you enter the Rx into the screen it sounds like you can for example:
Melantonin Cream 3% DHEA Cream 1% Retina
Think it is an excellent system, also I am sure you can do it the old way to save the hassle for a small service fee.
So many of us guys have problems, so surley the staff is often buysy taking care of other Administrative duties as well as issues.
It is not an easy job running a practice with more patients a lot more duties take place.
I am sure with as busy as things are if everyone called or e mailed you would need to hire a Service Center to take some of the load or hire more office staff just to read e mails and answer the phone with all of this work at sometimes, I am sure some times are much busier than others.
I think this should best benefits most of the patients as well as the office staff, with a system like this with the growing number of patients the office staff and Drs will be able to provide top level service still.

This needs to be a sticky or added to the ordering system documentation on the website.

The request site now says this when you go to the "Prescriptions Call Ins" page:

Prescription Call In

NOTE: You may request multiple medications from the same pharmacy under the same request. You do not need to create a seperate request for each medication.

Then when you go to the options for the prescription call ins it asks for the following information:

Pharmacy Name *

Pharmacy Phone *

Requested Medication(s) *

Special Notes

Qty*
