Quick Syringe Question

Is there a way to get a 1 1/2" 23g needle onto a 1cc syringe that measures in IU's?

I was thinking about buying those and putting my 1 1/2" 23g needles onto them for more accurate measuring, but I wasn't sure if it would work.

If it's for test, I wouldn't worry about it... and where are you injecting with a 1.5" needle.. damn!!! :)

I think you mean a syringe with greater resolution, not IUs but by .001mL graduations.

Not an expert, but I believe that all needles and syringes with Luer-loks are compatible.

Yes get 27g 1ml x 1/2" lg needles and shot into your thigh I do a shot everyday. My levels are great on this the oil comes out of the vial slow so I just pull the plunger all the way down and hold it until I get my dose.

I use 1/2" 31G in thigh. Never any problems so far.(1yr)

I have a dumb, related question. How important is it to change the needle between drawing out the Test and injecting it? Do most of you change the needles out, or do you use the same needle for drawing and injecting?

Well a new needle is always going to be sharper so if you are using a setup that allows you to change needles then I would. You can draw with a large 20g or something then switch to a 27 to inject. just push the plunger until the air is out.

The rubber dulls the needle quite a bit.

Next if you use anything smaller than a 27 you wont be able to change out needles but they are so small it wont matter anyway. 29g and up are painless.

So is it okay to use a 1" in the buttocks? I'd rather not change injection site since I've never injected anywhere else.

It's ok to keep as you are. I dose in my thigh because it is easyier for me to see and control.
