Yeah, that pesky first ammendment to the constitution thing keeps getting in the way for some people
Now corporations have the same rights as unions and non-profits to voice an opinion before an election.

But individuals are still capped at a couple thousand....that's not equal protection under the law.

I am attuned to the increasing tax burdens faced by many and have come to see that much of the load is caused by out of control public unions, who buy, intimidate and/or control too many legislators. Their all too often staggeringly expensive pensions are bankrupting cities and even states. CA, ILL and others are in deep, deep trouble due to skyrocketing pension costs.
Not trying to offend anyone here (that comes naturally...), but the more I dig, the worse I see.

Contribution Limits (http://www.fec.gov/pages/brochures/contriblimits.shtml)
Current contribution limits can be found with the above link.
Google it and read about this case and why the court had to decide as they did. Hilary-the Movie and banning books was discussed. It was a very interesting case.

It seems like every country is heading for the dustbin, apart from ones that have their own eco/financial circle that works.
