Estrogen symptoms?

Just making an obersvation ive seen with trying to control estrogen.

I have been taking Indolplex DIM for a while, due to high estradiol from taking DHEA. (also on thyroid, HC)
I am finding that out of line estrogen seem to give me a lot of thyroid and adrenal symptoms. Hypothyroid for high estradiol; and hyperthyroid or adrenal symptoms (from the battering caused by the excess thyroid) from low estrogen

My current high estrogen symptoms - Hypothyroid symptoms, low libido, bloated stomach.
My current low estrogen symptoms - adrenal fatigue like symptoms, depressed, low libido, some joint aches.

So what im finding is that estrogen symptoms high and low seem to mimic other symptoms?!

When my estrogen levels were a bit high I felt incredibly bloated and low libido. Now that I've been on the Adex for about a week and a half I'm pretty sure that my levels must be too low, as I feel way more tired than usual and have several joints that hurt (mostly shoulders). It's all a frustrating process for sure.:ack2:

I am sorry to tell you this but Hardasnails and my self have been saying this for a long time and others here. What works for me is to gage my Estradiol E2 levels by my night time and morning wood doing this I adjust my dose to keep in the sweat spot and don't have this problem.

E2 goes up or down even on things to control it we are bombarded by it from the foods we eat to the things we drink and are TRT it never stays the same and one needs to change what there doing to keep E2 in the sweet spot.

For most it's about your wood if your going to high you feel sore and hard nipples, hot and sweat a lot, then your wood will not stay up and hard and your morning wood is not strong. When you go low on E2 your wood dies and goes in to hiding and you can't get it up taking Viagra.
When this happens just stop what your taking until it comes back that day go back on what your taking but do less of it.

I kept a log on how I feel and how good my wood was and what dose I was taking until I got good at seeing what my levels were doing. You just can't take one dose of something and keep your E2 levels good.

Not getting much in the way of morning wood recently, no matter how much or little DIM i take)@ Maybe there are more hormones involved in it and libido..

Also, dont know if this is correct but if feel as if my estrogen levels shoot up and down over the course of a Single day!

The main source of Indoplex/DIM was taken over by the sister enzymatic and I the service went down. Most formulas are loaded with calcium. I am a big proponent of maximum control of environment and variables and found a source for DIM and just DIM. I have had too many bad experiences, such as with the first adrenal replenisher I took, that was loaded with all sorts of other goodies the mfg thought I would benefit from. I emphasize this because if you are engaged in therapy as a survivor of ailments and not just in it for competition or body building but survival, you more than likely will be on some other Rx that calcium could easily stifle as a binder.

Next, and while I am pulling this from a distant memory from another board, I thought DIM only addressed existing E2 stores and that to truly control E2 leveling you need to address the AI at the enzyme level.

I will say that, for me, it seemed that the DIM did something to mitigate the E2 swings, but I suspect once I can go back and see if I can get an acceptable dose of arimidex that might be the ticket.

As far as i know DIM just metabolizes existing estrogen into safer or less potent forms of estrogen, which can bind to SHBG and leave more free Test.
Must say i have tried a few sources of DIM and Indolplex is Much stronger.

Do you have a source that does not include calcium or other throw-ins?

Look at what you are putting into your body.
I just had a patient young man had low T/e2 ratio
I explored his diet and when asked let me guess he does not eat greens. You should have seen the smirk on his face I knew I was right. Then to top that off drinks 6 glasses of milk estrogen invested milk a day on top of it. I made dietary suggested and green vibrance with indoplex dim and we will retest in 6 weeks to see where he was at. Just increasing his vitamin D he felt 60% better. 8 months ago The boy had estrodial way over top end of the range. I asked let me guess you were bulking and drinking half gallon of milk a day. He was preplexed that I knew. Like I said look for root cause not the symptoms. I have this stuff down almost to a virtual science..
