Thanks, this was actually a nice piece of the hormone jigsaw puzzle.

But it still failed to discuss the fact that all hormone modulation therapy must include an assessment of all of the most important hormones, not just thyroid hormones.

This is because thyroid hormone metabolism may be being downregulated by feedback or dysfunction arising from any of the other main hormones (the usual suspects are: cortisol, estradiol, testosterone, growth hormone, progesterone, pregnenolone, DHEA), and when this is the case, the optimum fertility solution, as well as the long term healthy solution is to address the "other" hormone(s).
