Total Intestinal SIgA (Stool) 11 Low <400 Normal 400-800 Elavated >800
Milk (Casein) Ab SIgA Positive
Soy (Protein) Positive
Gliadin Ab, SIgA 57 Boderline 13-15
Positive >15
What does this have to do with my hormone problems?
Gliadin is a glycoprotein present in wheat and several other cereals within the grass genus Triticum
Are you Coeliac?
I also have antibodies to wheat/gluten and milk and have the genetic markers for them.
What is important is that it has been proven that those with gluten intolerance/celiac are more likely to develop thyroid antibodies, graves and/or hashis as well as other autoimmune diseases.
I had somewhat elevated thyroid antibodies and also have a thyroid nodule and pituitary tumor. Could this be due to me unknowingly fueling an autoimmune response for 30 years? Maybe...
Going to gluten and dairy free is damn tough but I've done it in hopes of stopping any more damage.
FWIW my anti-gliadin antibodies were 165.

one of the first things I mentioned to you per our conversation which I kept saying it was in your gut. I knew it explains high rt3 going into startvation mode due to improper absorption explains your high hunger. Again another feather in my cap..

My dairy was considerably lower at 20, but the range was <10. I've also done an allergy test to multiple foods that showed reactions to all milk components (casein, lactose, milk protein) but showed no reaction to goat milk.
My genetic test said:
HLA gene analysis reveals that you have two copies of a gene that predisposes to gluten sensitivity (any DQ1, DQ2 not by HLA-DQB1*0201, or DQ3 not by HLA-DQB1*0302). Having two copies of a gluten sensitive gene means that each of your parents and all of your children (if you have them) will possess at least one copy of the gene. Two copies also means there is an even stronger predisposition to gluten sensitivity than having one gene and the resultant immunologic gluten sensitivity may be more severe.

But are you feeling better off gluten?

I've been addressing multiple hormone deficiencies at the same time so it's tough to say what is dietary and what is hormonal. I do notice I'm not as hungry since removing those items from my diet. That's a good thing as I was always hungry before...probably from malabsorbption.

It feels as this progressed I have been hungrier and hungrier. Hopefully going gluten free and taking probiotics with glutamine will help heal this.
