Someone trying a restart protocol has to stop TRT correct? I started TRT because I felt absolutely terrible, what do you do while you're trying the restart?

If the restart doesn't work do you feel terrible for a month or two?

Am I correct in assuming that a restart would involve stopping T gel and then using Clomid and possibly hCG for a few weeks and then stopping all supplementation for another few weeks before testing hormone levels?

Mind me asking why you want to try a restart instead of staying on trt? i mean like was the TRT not helping you? How long were you on trt? Do you know if your problem is primary(testis problem) or secondary(problem in the brain)? if your secondary then hcg monotherapy should help you out.

i tried a restart before it raised my T but after a month it came back down. I will probably just have to go on trt soon.

When your on trt its shutting down your own production so yeah your correct when trying a restart you would need to stop TRT but You should talk to your dr about this or try dr.crisler he is good at this stuff.

good luck

I'm working with Dr. Crisler so I'm going to talk to him about it. The reason for trying a restart to replace TRT is so that I'm not stuck on a prescription for the rest of my life.

Not to be negative but you will begin to decline even after a restart....Is it worth a try??? Yes if you are prepared for what happens when your body doesnt restart and T drops back to where it was.

You will definitely save $$$ if you successfully restart, but only for as long as your T levels hold out.

After the restart, genetic aging will gradually diminish your T levels (hopefully after decades, not a few years).

So you'll be on T for the "rest of your life" at some point.

Life's a balancing act.

You need to get provide proper building blocks in the right ratio with proper hormonal support in order to hold when you come off. I have gotten alot of guys restarted by manpulating enzymatic pathways that where out of balance due to improper biochemistry by altering diet and looking at the whole issue.
Not saying this works for every one but give a good 8 weeks will tell the answer

I haven't used AAS and I'm 30 which is why I'm looking to restart. I could see trt if I was 50s or so but I'm hoping I can get my body working on in its own at some point.
