Several months ago, the requirement to have a site user id to log into the chatroom was implemented. This has now been changed back to open chatting for all. If you currently have a site user name, you will still need to use a password to enter the chat room, as this is necessary to reserve the user name you have chosen. Any name not in use, will not require a password.
Effective immediatley: Access to the chatroom will require a membership to the site. Membership will remain free.
Existing users will need to take spaces out of their user names.
